Maskolith II
Rooted in ritual performance, this work reflects the commanding presence of traditional wooden masks. Textured surfaces and dramatic features, including the extended tongue, evoke protection and expressive intensity. The composition invites viewers to consider the release of inner force beyond physical boundaries.

Amon Chakraborty
Drawing from Indian folk traditions, these sculptural works explore the mask as a form of transformation and embodied identity. Inspired by the Gomira dance and the symbolism of Kali, exaggerated forms and expressive surfaces reflect themes of ritual, concealment, and inner force.
Why 50?
50 was born from a simple gap we kept noticing: extraordinary Indian artists exist everywhere, yet much of their work never reaches the audiences who would truly value it.
Traditional galleries can often feel exclusive, while online marketplaces tend to reduce art to décor. We wanted to create something more thoughtful—a curated and welcoming space where discovering and collecting original art feels natural, personal, and transparent.
At the heart of 50 is a belief that thoughtful curation and a considered approach to pricing can exist alongside one another—creating a more open and connected way to experience contemporary art.
