Mahesh Karambele

Expansive colour fields and fluid brushstrokes define Mahesh Karambele’s abstract paintings. Working across acrylic and mixed media, he explores transparency, movement, and energy through compositions that suggest shifting horizons and atmospheric landscapes. Born in Maharashtra, Karambele’s practice embraces freedom of form, allowing colour and gesture to evolve organically across the canvas. His paintings often evoke subtle silhouettes of landscapes or cityscapes, inviting viewers to discover their own interpretations within the layers of colour and movement. With more than ninety exhibitions worldwide, his works have been presented across galleries and international art fairs and are held in private and public collections across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
