Radhesham Dhamal
Fluid landscapes, geometric structures, and layered textures shape Radhesham Dhamal’s abstract practice. Based in Pune, Dhamal draws from the natural world and the changing environments around him, moving between oceanic spaces, urban topographies, and fragments of familiar architecture. His paintings often begin with spontaneous gestures and raw applications of colour, gradually evolving into compositions where intersecting lines, grids, and geometric forms bring a sense of order and balance. Blues, greens, earthy tones, and shifting hues become part of a personal colour language through which he explores movement, atmosphere, and memory. Across his practice, Dhamal is interested in the tension between chaos and tranquillity. Whether evoking the energy of the ocean or the structured patterns of an expanding city, his works transform observation and experience into abstract spaces that invite both recognition and contemplation.
