Sanket Baraskar
Atmospheric colour fields and textured surfaces define Sanket Baraskar’s abstract paintings. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, he explores themes of nature, emotion, and the subtle energies embedded within landscapes. Raised with a deep connection to the natural world, Baraskar began his artistic journey with portraiture before gradually evolving toward abstraction. His paintings draw inspiration from elemental forces such as air, water, and stone, translating the spirit of nature into meditative compositions that evoke calm and contemplation. Baraskar studied painting at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya in Pune and continues to develop a practice that reflects both personal memory and the quiet rhythms of the natural environment.

“Nature has always been my strongest inspiration. Through abstraction, I try to capture not just the image of a landscape, but the feeling and spirit that lives within it.”
