Pawan Yadav
Pawan Yadav’s painting practice bridges academic tradition and contemporary interpretation. Working across painting and drawing, his work reflects a deep engagement with Indian artistic heritage, combining technical discipline with explorations of cultural memory and symbolism. Trained at the Faculty of Visual Arts at Banaras Hindu University and later at the College of Art, University of Delhi, Yadav developed a strong foundation in classical techniques and visual storytelling. His work often reflects the influence of traditional Indian painting practices while exploring contemporary visual language and thematic concerns. Alongside his studio practice, Yadav has remained actively involved in research and art education. His doctoral studies in painting further deepened his engagement with Indian art traditions, allowing him to explore the intersection between academic scholarship and creative practice.
