Riders in Rhythm VI
Drawing from everyday scenes of urban life, this series reflects the quiet intimacy of two riders travelling together through the city. Simplified forms, patterned surfaces, and flat colour fields balance stillness with implied movement. The works evoke companionship, trust, and the shared rhythms of daily journeys.

Prasanta Acharjee
Geometric forms and vibrant colour define Prasanta Acharjee’s abstract paintings. Drawing inspiration from urban life, music, and cultural landscapes, his work distils everyday scenes into rhythmic compositions that balance abstraction and representation.
Why 50?
50 was born from a simple gap we kept noticing: extraordinary Indian artists exist everywhere, yet much of their work never reaches the audiences who would truly value it.
Traditional galleries can often feel exclusive, while online marketplaces tend to reduce art to décor. We wanted to create something more thoughtful—a curated and welcoming space where discovering and collecting original art feels natural, personal, and transparent.
At the heart of 50 is a belief that thoughtful curation and a considered approach to pricing can exist alongside one another—creating a more open and connected way to experience contemporary art.
